    New Lighting Schedule

I'm hoping that its not too too noticeable although I recognize there will be diminished returns. If you look at my plants though, they're pretty frosty so the UV might be helping. I'll know in the end though.

How too Harvest 1/2 pound with 250w+LST!

Dude, this grow is captivating! I'm very excited to see what you can do. I think that instead of increasing light size, it is better to max out your abilities with the equipment and strains you have. The more familiar you are, and the more feeling you have for the system the better you can...

    Training to Increase Yield?

I also use supercropping on my girls. It gives em nice and large branches and stems for supporting the plant. Even when forced down to low points and away from the light, by the end of the day a plant can be back up towards the light. It's ridiculous how fast they recover.

Supplying Air to Roots When using co2?

I put an airstone in my pots during one grow. It seemed to do well with just that and no CO2, you can always try that.

    New Lighting Schedule

The light is exceptionally strong and although it is "damaging" the plants during the time that it is still on, it does not do so in a bad way. When left on for too long the plant becomes over saturated from the light and will slow down growth and plant production as a result. My light already...

    New Lighting Schedule

10/12 does not fit on the time I have nicely so I had to keep going back and changing it, which sometimes didn't work and the timer just didn't turn on. Because it is 21 hours, I can fit it nicely onto the schedule so it will always reach the same time on a new week.

    New Lighting Schedule

I understand how it works. The point is, my light hurts my plants when it's on for too long so yield can actually decrease with more light. There is a balance between the two. Will the yield drop? Yes, of course it will, I'm not retarded, but what you gain from it is a quicker cycle, lower...

    New Lighting Schedule

I have no plants that I can compare from when I used 12/12 for right now and the plants currently under 10/12 are still about two, two and half weeks away.

    New Lighting Schedule

As long as a plant gets 12 hours of darkness a day, it'll keep on flowering. This allows a grower to set the daytime lower. I've been on a 10/12 schedule from the start of flowering, but it is annoying to have to reset my timer every few days because it does not fit on the timer nicely. I...

    500W Blackstar Grow

I consider a slow build up as you give the plant a day or two with full access to nutes and water then drown the shit out of em.

    500W Blackstar Grow

Don't you want to first force the plant to eat what's in the pot?

    500W Blackstar Grow

The plants are taking longer than expected, but they are starting to fatten up quite nicely. I'm switching their schedule to 8-14 to remain on a 22 hour schedule to force it to finish a little earlier. I've been lazy and haven't placed the light high enough so the spread isn't very good, but...

    Switching Periods

Hi all, I'm currently using a BS500 and I've been on a 10 on 12 off schedule. I'm nearing harvest time and I want to increase the light time, but I'm not sure if it would confuse the shit out of the plant or if the plant just cares how long the dark is. Can I do this without harming my babies?

LED Technology in the next 3-5 years?

I'm pretty sure Kessel lights use DiCon's laser/fiber optic diodes and the technology they used is somewhat old. DiCon has better chips, but they would bleach the plant. In terms of LEDs, plasma and other lighting systems that might come about, I think they are the future of growing. HIDs...

Is it worth spending £3500 on led lights???

Instead of buying one big, expensive panel, buy more small panels its easier to get a better coverage.

    Beware of EBAY LED auctions

Dude, you always have to do the research and no, no light under 170 will be worth your while. So much chinese crap on ebay that's there to trick buyers.
