Dude i put rice in the bottom of my jar overnight, it sucked up a lot. Only problem i came across was not putting something between the rice and budz, so i ended up having to sit there and pull out the rice from the buds.. But all in all it worked great for me....

the roots will filter the food coloring so it prob wont work as well... better off doing it when you ready to harvest, just pop the stem into som food coloring/water mixture... simple sugars you should add while growing... molasass is the one most Doc's recomend.

adding certian sugars are good for the girls... they make sugars themselves so putting the right ones in there helps them alot. Look around on here and you'll read up on some interesting stuff about adding simple sugars...

man buy a rumbermaid from wal mart and make your own... you can make 2-3 for the price of one from stealth hydro and they work just as good... There are like 100 threads on here on how people have made them at home, some a little more ghetto then others but most of them work... This way you...

THANKS JIMMY! Thats what i thought, Just dont understand why this f-ing thing wont turn on. Im taking the bulb & wing back to my shop and getting them to test it today to try and rule them out. I know the ballast is working cuz you get that nice crisp hummm.... Who knows could be the ignitor...
