Thanks. If I cut it off should I cut it all the way where the branch meets the stalk? And do I leave the exposed part of the plant alone or should I put something over the cut spot?

One of the branches on my first plant seems to be dying or something. It looks pretty bad. The bud is kind of softer than all the other branches buds and is kind of soft squishy. The stem is harder that all the others and its discolored. The base of the branch on the stalk is also discolored...

Here are a couple more pics. One is of pretty much the whole plant and the other pic is of the base of the one bad branch. The stalk is discolored above and below the one bad branch. The top of the plant and the rest of the branches and buds all like fine except for the fan leaves discoloring...

And I was doing some searching online last night and some were saying discolored leaves could be from colder nights....?

Lights are off right now so I can't get full plant pics now. Some fan leaves have yellowed and are drooping/curled down like they might fall off. The leaves seem to also be a different color, maybe purpleish or some funky color. What could the weird color leaves mean? I don't really know whats...

Some of the fan leave have yellowed. They haven't fell off, but they are kinda drooping like they might just fall off. Would you suggest cutting the one dying looking branch or harvesting the whole plant early?
