Hey bud! That set-up looks good for your budget. The ballast is UL listed and that is VERY IMPORTANT! With only one plant you really don't need a filter unless you have really close neighbors. You can also go to Walmart and get a cheap air purifier $40-50 and it will take care of the flowering odor.

I use the same one in my 7x4x7 grow tent. I had trouble with the little unit keeping the tent below 75. But then I realized my exhaust fan was sucking out the air faster than the ac could pump in. Try turning down your exhaust. Now my ac chills the tent to 70 deg. No B.S here. Also my 750watt...
