Thats not exactly inaccurate.. You'll get the most flavor and potency with ripe and completely developed resins. Terpenes affect the smell and taste, some buzz. And the the trichs are the stuff we're trying to smoke for the "high". Less developed resins end up in shitty weed and less potent...
