that plant should be WAYYYY larger for 8 weeks, should be 3-4 feet by now (or equivalent with lst, whatever). once it starts showing new growth I would switch to 12/12

I would toss it and start fresh =)

usually when the first 2 leaves that popped up yellow it's time to start nutes (2-3 weeks from sprout). whatever nutes you're using start out at 1/4 strength the recommended dose then continually strengthen the dose week by week

Best bet is 12/12 from seed if doing a solo cup run. You can switch the lights whenever you want to but a plant won't start flowering until it reaches maturity, usually after 3 weeks from sprout

Tried googling it, can't get a straight answer so I'll ask you guys =D, 2-3 of my ladies have extremely dark green leaves and are almost like plastic (really shiney and rough). I know there is something I can add to my watering to solve this and I'm sure it's very simple/asked a million times...

I use MH until about week 1-2 of flowering, then switch to HPS

you can use a MH all the way through, just won't get as good ah results versus using a HPS. the only sure way is to get a microscope and look at the trichs, if you don't want to spend the 5-10 bucks then when all the white hairs are 75-80% red. Some sativas can take 12 weeks and up. good luck

Depends how long you veg if that's enough light or not, a 600w is effective for a 4x4 space. And yes mh for veg and hps for flower
