If I am lacking light 6 weeks into flower. Can I simply take out 2 of the plants so the remaining 2 get more light for the final 3 weeks and see bigger buds?

I don't quite understand auto flower.. So if I have an auto flower plant I can keep then in 18 hours of light without ever switching to 12/12? Do I understand that correctly?

Female pre flowers showed up around 7 days, and pistils didn't start popping out of the top bud nodes until around 9 - 11 days. I am really crossing my fingers that they are just taking forever to start putting on weight. Thing I am worried about tho is 2 of them are still producing a crap ton...
