DIY LED Grow Light Vero 18 (Economy light)

I was actually mocking up plans using fence posts - great minds think alike! Temperature was my concern as well - and the cool tube idea sounds interesting.

More RW-75's or a DIY 3070 COB build?

My plan was leaning towards the Arctic 11's, but probably gets down to how they are going to be mounted. Considering something like the Battlestar Ganjatica design where I can expand and shrink coverages based on the setup. I really like modularity, but I don't think I want 20 hanging...

LEC Sun System 315W CMH/Philips Elite Agro 930 - Virgin Flowering Run

An And THIS is why I'm still pondering CMH! Very nice!

More RW-75's or a DIY 3070 COB build?

Good thoughts and that's kind of where my head is at to be honest. My next set of lights likely fill a 4x8 tent - not exactly filling a grow operation! I'm thinking of picking up 20 of the 3070 top bin's when cash becomes available, but haven't settled on a design or layout just yet.

More RW-75's or a DIY 3070 COB build?

Forgot to add, I'm also strongly considering CMH as well. Really impressed with the grow journals with this tech - likely the LEC 315's if I go this route.

More RW-75's or a DIY 3070 COB build?

Planning my next set of LED veg/flower lights and looking for other opinions. I'm considering in the longterm opening up a recreational store in CO, so dollars spent today as a hobby might end up being 'pro' down the road. That leads me to my next question which is do I DIY a 3070 build or...

    color question

This for flowering or veg? I'm interested in the feedback myself as I know there are some strong camps in the all white and deep red supplement crowd. Guessing blue isn't needed, but I'm new at this! Grabbing the popcorn....

Advanced LED Lights 5w XTE (early buy special)

Appreciate it. No rush, and will follow this thread and any grow journals you have. Thanks!

Advanced LED Lights 5w XTE (early buy special)

Didn't word that the best. It's a selling point, but clearly not the only selling point. My point better stated is documentation is an easy fix and helps tie the product to their video demo. I'd be a bit frustrated as a new customer to buy it and then have to figure all that out myself when...

    light housing

Onyx sells their housings which would be a nice polished look. There are quite a few approaches in the DIY thread as well.

    horrible experience

I think the point is made. My advice? Move on. As this drags on it looks more and more like a vendor bash thread. To many ifs and overreaching responses here. You made the point, now people are wallowing in it and you are straying from your tone in the very first email. Buy something else...

    RW-75 - First Grow - Annihilator / Acapulco Gold

I appreciate your input - nice to spitball something together anyway. I've decided to split my rails up on two separate frames with different reservoirs and will work on that tonight. Beyond the obvious nutrient problem, the Ann is going to be ready to flower before the Ac Gold anyway...

Advanced LED Lights 5w XTE (early buy special)

That's a problem as it's a major 'selling point' for the new light. They need to get that fixed so that it's very straightforward. Very interested in your thoughts on these as you get some time with them.

    RW-75 - First Grow - Annihilator / Acapulco Gold

I thought I was battling nitrogen deficiency as well, thus the reason I went 'richer' in my mix this second fill of veg. So you are saying water change and drop to 100ppm? I'm a little concerned that might impact the Ann variety as it's doing well. I'm definitely learning the virtues of a...

    RW-75 - First Grow - Annihilator / Acapulco Gold

I hadn't posted exactly how I mixed my nutrients, but it's mixed in a milk jug in qtys below and added until 1100 PPM in distilled water - then PH adjusted. (Stinkbud method was where I got this). I gave it a good shake when I added it so things where good and blended. Pure blend Pro Grow...

    RW-75 - First Grow - Annihilator / Acapulco Gold

It's Neem Oil bath day again. Weekly treatment along with a foliar feed of Epsom salts again today. The Ann is doing well in veg since nutrient change and trimmings of lower growth. The Ac Gold is coming along as well in growth, but still have some rust spots forming on the leaves - and it is...

    horrible experience

I get why you are upset. Onyx makes a great light as well and is competitive on price. They were my other choice and outside of the fact you have to have separate lights for veg and bloom, I likely would have ordered from them. Competition is a good thing - and consumers vote with their...

    horrible experience

Well, the timing and circumstances are unfortunate. Not sure why you felt the need to be compensated for the hassle, but that's your right as a consumer. Regardless, there are other manufacturers that will sell you a light if you choose to do so. My experience was the polar opposite to the...

    RW-75 - First Grow - Annihilator / Acapulco Gold

I've got the top insulated, but not the sides as of yet. I actually have a piece cut but hadn't moved it in to the tent yet. Will likely do that this week. I use it when I'm insulating a fermentation when homebrewing - great stuff!
