    lrs drivers

Here is twelve eb gen 2 strips for one lrs350-36. Voltage max is 39,4v and after that u get safe mode and power goes off. I built new supercheap 36x eb gen 2 light and with these drivers you can really push your budget down. I give them 700ma so no need for heatsink and total cost was like 550...

Is this a Vero 29 killer?

It stays pretty cool no matter what u give between 5-12 volts with 50 watt ledchip. Weight is almost 700g. Maybe 70-80 watts is max what i would give them.

Cheap and Cheerful DIY using Citizen cobs

They wont sell outside and its a same thing with TME.EU. I tried that hard with several mails but no. That local sellershit is so unbelievable in 2016.

Pictures of your DIY lights - Post your pics!!!

My first intention was to try out Citizen CLU056 chips but since i couldn't get them i bought dozen of Vero29s and four HLG-240H-C2100 drivers. Heatsink is RAD-A6023 from TME so with 2.1A its 100cm2/W and just a slight air movement keeps it pretty cool.

    12xCXB3590 Passively Cooled

I'm gonna try far reds too. With that control board and relay you can make it pretty cheap and i like cheap things which can eventually lead to bigger yields.

COB Manufacturers other than CREE or BRIDGELUX

Nevergood, what driver you are planning to use with CLU056? I thought im gonna give a try to these LedAnts drivers from Alibaba. They always respond quickly i like that and 45-58VDC 2200mA driver with shipping fees and possible taxes is like 32-34 euros per piece.

DIY COB Questions & Future Build Thread

I've used light with 200W worth of chinacobs and i think light what comes out of it is not as bright and intense as Cree or Bridgelux would offer. Bud is more airy etc... I would not go all-in with chinacobs.

    Citizen leds?? Citiled anyone used??

I will test CLU056-1825C1 at 2200mA. It will be 115W and 44% so nine of these in 5x5 space sounds really good. Heat sink is TME RAD-A6023/1000 and its 100cm2/W passive and PPDF is little over 900. One heat sink will contain three cobs.

COB Manufacturers other than CREE or BRIDGELUX

If i can build 1035W cob and get 44% efficiency just under 800 euros i think its worth to try. Its not a big deal after that to add couple more if i need more spread to get yields.

COB Manufacturers other than CREE or BRIDGELUX

I have a discussion going on about 47-57vdc or 95-115vdc 2.2A led driver from Alibaba and my plan is to use 9x CLU056-1825C1-353M2G2 in 5x5 foot space. One 1000x165x35mm TME RAD-A4291 heat sink to three cobs so its like 60cm2/W and its active cooled by maybe two fans cos its 100cm long piece...

COB Manufacturers other than CREE or BRIDGELUX

Those are like laptop power supplys or chargers. Im thinking why not actually a basic 48V 120W switching psu could not do the job cos they are 10% dimmable up and cheap too.

COB Manufacturers other than CREE or BRIDGELUX

So you used CLU056-1825C1-353M2G2 specs am i right? They are 37e per chip if you buy 5 or more and i have couple 52V 2.3A powersupplys lying around with no purpose.

    Heatsinks for DIY LED lamps

Last time i bought these and price was 2,5 euros. They are used heat sinks from HP DL380 G5 server and i removed a cover and just made 57mm hole to it cos i used 60mm fan. It stays pretty cool no matter what u give between 5-12 volts with 50 watt ledchip. Weight is almost 700g.

    Heatsinks for DIY LED lamps

Vero13 is like ~35w max so it would be vero18 if you want ~50watts but afterall a difference is not so huge cos Vero18 is 10,70e and those are 8,45e (if bought more than five). I remembered Vero18 price wrong.

    Heatsinks for DIY LED lamps

I might even try these http://www.tme.eu/en/details/of-lm004-30b380/white-power-leds-cob/optoflash/ http://en.honglitronic.com/index.php?m=Product&a=pro_detailed&gid=13 It's a somekind of OEM manufacturer and there is good amount of data about these. They look like a Crees chips.

    Heatsinks for DIY LED lamps

After couple grams i think im gonna double that size and use 140mm fan. Just to have at least some time if fan says goodbye.

    Heatsinks for DIY LED lamps

Friend gave me a hs and its 5900cm2. Pretty much like a 5.88" profile. I thought that it would be just enough to 300W worth of cobs if i use it with a fan. Do u guys think that im pushing limits here maybe?
