Guide to Nutrient Deficiency or Toxicity

Hey everyone! I'm dealing with a problem that started with small rust-colored (dry) spots, mostly on the edges of the bottom leaves but some in the middle of the leaf as well. It has spread very quickly to most of the leaves, from the older ones to the younger ones. Leaves get really crispy as...

    Guide for Diagnosing Plant Problems

Hi guys, im growing three autos from RQS (fat banana) and one critical orange punch from Dutchpassion. Indoor, organic soil (wormcast, biokashi, dolomitic calcarium etc) with leds 3500k. They are in week 4/5, starting to show some pre-flowers. Two days ago I've notice some light gray (almost...

DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

Got it!! Thanks!! Just one more question... If I keep adding cobs, the current would be 4,5a/(n cobs). Naturally, sometime the current would decrease to a point insufficient to cobs work, right? How do I discover the minimum current the cob needs to light up decently? Ideally, should I setup...

DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

Nice, Rocket! Thank you. Just for me to understand the idea.... in terms of efficiency, more cobs will always be better, since the voltage is sufficient to them light up? Is that it? The current, splitting for 6, don't have the chance to be insufficient to light them up?

DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

I've actually touched the built in, I just need to reconfigure it? If I mount up all 6 cobs with that driver, will it work?

DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

Hi guys, hope you are all fine! I have 6 Vero 29se BXRC-35G10K0-B-7X and a XLG-240H-AB Meanwell driver. I was using 3 cobs with this driver but realized they were getting too hot. Looking in datasheets I've found that probably will make sense using more cobs to decrease the amps in each one and...

    Guide for Diagnosing Plant Problems

hey guys, my plants are in 4th flower week and, one more than other, had started presenting a lot of yellow leaves, which were spreading quite fast. I've suspected it was nitrogen defficiency and did a extraordinary watering plus an 1 inch cover of wormcast. it was 2 days ago and appearently...

    Guide for Diagnosing Plant Problems

hi guys, my two plants (one more than another) are presenting brown/dry aspect in tips of some leaves. It is really small but I've realized a couple a days ago. It not seems to getting worse and they are growing well. (~50 days veg, I'm planning to change to 12/12 on 5-7 days from now). Like...

    Possible Bad Dimmer

Yes they are. I've lost a loot of time trying to find some affordable before I realized it is not essential. Anyway, I will proceed with this setup: 3 cobs which are 1800mA; 52V; 93,6W (vero 29 BXRC-35G10K0-B-7X) for 1 XLG-240H-A/B I am going to unhook the dimmer wires and use the current...

    Meanwell dimming

Hi guys! I have a Meanwell A/B Type Driver. The fact it is an A-type means that I'm able to configure it using a Philips screwdriver, right? My question is about the fact it is also a B-type. To use it funcionality I need a 100K potentiometer, don't I? Is it possible to use the driver without...

    Possible Bad Dimmer

Sorry lol! Its the XLG-H. 3 cobs in parallel connection. One more thing: considering that I'll use active cooling, do you suggest using fuses too? In case one cob dies, I'd save the other two?

    Possible Bad Dimmer

Nice! I pretend to install 3 cobs which are 90cri, 1800mA; 52V; 93,6W (vero 29 BXRC-35G10K0-B-7X) on the 240 XLG AB. In that case, I don't run the risk of screwing everything up, right? Thanks again!

    Possible Bad Dimmer

Wow, thats good!! Thanks!! Here in Brazil the dimmer switcher are about 30 dollars, really expensive! Anyway, if I don't use the Io adjust hole, the wattage would be sending as maximum, is it right?

    Possible Bad Dimmer

Yo dude, good night! I have the 240 XLG AB as well. Is it perfectly ok to use it without the dimmer? What would be the difference? Always the maximum wattage?

    Vero 29 selection

Do I have to assemble the three cobs by making parallel connections, right? In this case, one fuse per cob would give me the necessary security? How can I choose the fuses?

    Vero 29 selection

How bad would be that? Do you recommend two cobs per driver (instead of 3)?

    Choosing Driver

Does the MEAN WELL XLG-150-H-A would work for 3 cobs which are 90cri, 1800mA; 52V; 93,6W (vero 29 BXRC-35G10K0-B-7X)? It's the only driver that I found in my country and think that might works. I'm very confused about how to choose the correct driver. Does anyone have any study material? (I...
