Yes I change out 100% of the water. I had a little something starting to form on one of my air stones. It was difficult to spot because it was wrapped up in the roots

I'm running a 40 gallon system 5 8gallon bucket. I can't control the ph drop at all. In 12 hours it will go from ph 5.8 to 4.4. I've brought my ppms from 400 all the way to 900. I have a blue lab controller but I try not to use it.

How do you dial a rdwc in? Give it notes ph the water and keep it cool?

I did soil for about 5 years. Hated watering and like the idea of rdwc. Bought everything under the sun I thought I would need and still landed flat on my face. I tried doing the Sterile route with uc roots to keep things clean but got algae. Turns out my top of res was the issue. No lid on it...

I'm going to be starting my 3rd rdwc. I struggled with my first two grows and went back to soil for a bit. Getting read to start my 3rd. Hope I figure it out lol
