Thinking of using a uv black light to hunt eggs and caterpillars at dusk. Any thoughts?

Only took one picture Of GSC today. Lots of inspecting found first four caterpillars.

I’ve tried dark periods up to a week. Even tried splitting the stems at the base with dowels. Saw no difference. Though human error could be my issue. No real testing just visual observation from one grow to the next.

As long as we keep the pest away and weather doesn’t drop an end of season week+ of rain/high humidity. Last year lost many tops to caterpillars. Year before was mold. Proactive as been the game this year. 4-5lbs

Looks like the leaves on some of my tomato plants after some wind mixed with cold air.

Using lady bugs and lacewings last 5weeks to keep aphids from exploding again. While away partner didn’t do control spraying and we had aphids explode on two plants. Did a every other day drench treatment but plants are so large it did kill them all. It is definitely year of the aphids. Found...

I feel that. I quarantined for a month with treatments before veg tent exposure. The borg population exploded after one day having a humidity spiked. It took predator mites and lady bugs to rid tents and houseplants as well. The “buddy” was like oh yeah I forgot to mention I had a mite issue...
