    Any growing medium really, just surround a portion you would bury in dirt doing normal clones. But surround it and tape the bag loosely but firm enough to keep the growing medium inside. Wait a week or so then snip it off below the bag and plant her.

    My method is quite a bit different. Take a blade and shave off a bit of the skin, then tape a black bag of moist potting soil around it still attached to the plant. Your clones still get nutrients from the mother and continue growing while also taking root. Less stress for your clones
