Strange thing this morning. Made up 20 litres of feed. Water had sat 24 hours to declorinate. Checked EC with billable truncheon and it was up at 1.8 so had to dilute with roughly 9 litres water. Brought it down to 1.4 and a PH of 5.9 Thing is I don’t understand why it would be that high an EC...

So keeping at 1.3 throughout the whole grow is a good scope. I also have a bluelab EC pen so reading will be bang on !!

Thanks Star Dawg yeah been researching and with the air pruning I’ve been told when the root hits the light the end of root dies then 2 roots grow in opposite directions a bit like topping. Therefore making a bigger root mass. I’d like to aim for 5oz dry per plant, would a 15 litre air pot make...

Hi all, back again after a really bad time. Anyway I recently bought a bluelab truncheon. I've had to dilute my nutes with water to get desired EC (1400) But my PH is away up to 8.0 Do I need to bring down PH aswell or ignore my reading. Newbie here so sorry for dumb question.
