1 ss bubblegum chopped but not smelling????

hi ppl ive got 4 bg chopped 1 at 7wks trics all over and sticky as fuk lol the whole plant has been trimed of leaves after 24hrs looks very nice BUT no bubblegum smell im hopeing they will get that smell while drying and cureing? can anyone help ps ive had a few buds off really harsh and no bg taste but i did quick dry

I find that for the first few days it smells like new mown hay. Just the plant giving off the chlorophyll. You should be able to squeeze the bud in your finger and them and then smell. It will give you an idea as to what is to come. During the curing process the bud becomes more fragrant. A quick dry is no measure of the end product when dried and cured properly.
