Im kinda curious.. beside the basics of lighting, watering and Nutrients.. what do you feel you have changed or did that increased your yield the most? Everyone seems to have there own little thing or idea that works for them.. Please share.. Im always looking for new idea's and trying to evolve. :eyesmoke:

During summer days if you have the take them outside option.an oscilating fan with a mister attachment for about a half hour at a time three times a day seems to do wonders.

molasses doesnt really help your yeild unless you have some microbiology up in there. Molasses feeds beneficial bacteria to an extent which promotes good stuff goin on in the root zone. In this case, yes, definantly increases yeild.

Definitely supercropping about 10-14 days into flowering... Depends on the strain though.....But not the usual supercropping in which you pinch the stem and bend it over..... This is not as harsh, as I just pinch the stem at node 2 and 3 from the top down on each cola.... Will stop the stretching, and start producing buds faster with this low stress technique...... Alot of growers like Soma will tell you to completely bend the stem over, but I dont like this, as it kinda makes the colas grow with like a 2 inch arch, and will make those small shoots that were not getting as much light stretch up resulting and being more susceptible to small popcorn like nugs, rather than Nice chunky colas with good structure....... Idk if you'll get more yield if you completely bend the stem over, but I like the nug formation better when you just break the stem in, and not bend it.... It will still heal, and make the stem stronger......... I do sometimes bend the stem over, but during veg... Not in flower.

Try not to feed too much nitrogen, and keep your plants lime green in color..... If they are dark dark green, flush, and stop with the nitrogen for a bit..... Dont give them over 2% nitrogen with your nut regimen... Always keep a NPK Fert with high PK, with very little to no N (0-12-13 or 2-11-11 for example) and feed it just that, and your basic additives without any N ratio

and I hear that Humboldt's County's Own Gravity is great stuff for flower hardner, but must be used with moderation, as it is very strong stuff, and must not be used for more than 3-4 days about 2 weeks before harvest, and then flush, and maybe continue using your regular nutes at like half strength for the next week, then flush, and nothing but water and molasses the last week-10 days of your flushing period....... Least how I am gonna use it, when it gets here, as I just ordered it yesterday...... Lets see how it works, since this crop has been like my worst in a while, since I had major PH issues due to new coco medium I used, which said on the package that it was pre ph balanced, and I trusted it, so fed it with 6.0 water, and the whole time the ph was under 5.0, and by the time I figured it out, I was already a week into flower, and at the time I was buying water 5 gallons at a time from my local water mill, because my tap water is so alkaline and at about 500ppm, so couldnt flush using that water.... Till I finally ordered an RO system, and now have access to all the clean 15ppm water I want, and no more trips of carrying 5 gallons at a time....so finally flushed them, and they are doing a little better, but dont expect more than 2 oz per plant.... My A train's fan leaves basically all fell off.... I really didnt care at the time, as Imperfection really bothers me, and I really just felt like just cutting them down and starting over... Till I looked at my practically empty stash, and figured, I'd just get whatever I get, then start over as new.... I'm on day 38, and things are looking better than I expected... Nice frosty nugs on the train, even though its practically bald....lol.... SLH is looking decent also...... Damn.... Went on and wrote a book, eh? :/... Sorry...lol

Add 20% to 50% more perlite to your promix.

Smart pots actually work

Make sure your plant food has enough nitrogen to keep everything dark green until about the 4th week of flower..to deny them nitrogen during stretch and early bud growth will hurt yields.

A handful of lime into your soil works wonders or feed something like calmag before the stretch.

Most air cooled reflectors cause hot spots..find out where your hot spots are so you dont bleach your plants. I dont use a reflector i just use the cool tube and i have no problem with the gram per watt theory.

Use a modern plant food like AN, house and garden, canna..there are lots of them. You can grow good pot with the lucas theory but you can grow awesome pot with modern nutes. (lots of people will argue but Ive done a few side by sides and the lucas method always comes last..very healthy but last in yield.)

These arent things Ive read on the internet, this is stuff Ive learned from experience and suffering lol.

Thanks for the replies guys!.. this will be a good little thread for everyone thats looking for the little things that can make a difference.. I know Im gonna try some of this stuff! I really would like to incorporate CO2 into my next grow.. especially because I have been reading 85 degrees is right where you want your temps... and that is exactly where mine are if I dont use the house AC. I dont think I will need much to add CO2. I already have sealed hoods.. just would have to put a timer on my exhaust. How much of a difference does CO2 make in your guys experiences?

Canopy management, there are a lot of different methods, LST, scrog, topping, etc.. Basically keeping s much foliage "tops" as possible with out over crowding in optimal lighting.

I agree, making sure the plants have enough room top and sides makes a difference. Pinching and bending causes stress and puts the cola in overload making more and bigger buds at that site.

After re reading this I think this is the most important thing BUT it takes the longest to learn because only experience will teach you this how to best fill your space. Go read up on uncle Ben...he is THE man of plant manipulation. Pick a strain and stay with it..If your looking for advice i would say Critical Mass from mr nice. a great high/stone with an epic yield, any retard can pull a pound of a 600 with CM and smoke enough of it to forget where he put his pound....
