1000w HPS is better than a 600w HPS 400w MH combo

I was doing some research on plasma lighting and got this sweet experiment they did when comparing 10 different lighting options. One thing i noticed was that the 600w HPS was just as good as a 600w HPS/400w MH combo. And a 1000w HPS was hands down better basically because it had a lot more light intensity.(look at the Cumulative Harvest graph). So if your looking to risk light intensity for a better spectrum it isn't worth it. There is also a bunch of other info on here.

and it clearly proves light intensity does not add up!

The opti-blue super MH grow more weight than the opti-red super HPS. (i guess lumens doesn't matter?)
The son-t 1000w HPS is very comparable as the 1000w opti-red HPS.(i would get whichever one is cheaper)

oh and the dual core bulb that cost two times more than the opti-red and opti-blue doesn't come close to either one when it comes to culumative harvest.
