10k cmh for veg

I was browsing amazon when I came across this veg light bulb it says 10k and ots got a ton of blue light only for veg as I said what do y'all think?

Appears to be a regular mh fitted for a cmh ballast. Pretty cool I've been wanting more blue in my 315 for veg

I believe them bulds over 7k are for penetrating water in an aquarium

Agreed, the arc tube doesn't appear to be ceramic. I wonder what positions it is rated to operate in. Most metal halide bulbs are horizontal burn only.

It also lacks a lot of lumens when compared to the same brand 315 CMH lamp. Both are on this page:

I have some metal halide DE 1000's that are 10k that I use for ripening bulbs. I sure wouldn't wanna try to veg with them, would take forever lol.

I think 10k would better suited for seedlings/clones where as ~6500k would be better for veg.

i think the 4K is better for veg. i used it for bloom too and got great results.
the 10k is more for the last 2 weeks.
