im just growing strait 12/12 to have some bud for when i move last strait 12/12 grow i had went great 
so im hoping with 3 i should pull more than last time

Man, you should defiantly veg them out first. You can get a qp or more of dried bud from a 150 hps. Trust me, I've done it.
Check this out, a single plant vegged for about 8 wks then flipped
That is at 6 wks and I let it go 10.

yea i know im just pressed for time before i move so im just doing a 12/12 grow until i get in my new place and can run a 1000w hps then will be vegging for 8 weeks then flip just need something to toke while i wait

Oh it was! It is a home made cross that @sneakyfoot created, Ron burgundy X Purple Moroccan so he named it Purple MoRon

I like to top when they are young, around the 4 node. Then after a couple of weeks I'll start to supercrop to open the plant up a bit, after that it's LST only up until the flip.

Well here's an update on my plants I gave two of my sour flower plants to a homie to grow out doors and now I have a cut of gorilla glue #4 and THC bomb never grew either but smoked gorilla glue #4 im hoping the sour flower is a female to have three plant to harvest

Riddle (RM3) only uses T5's...see hisNice plants with using fluorescent.......
So then. The main point in the use of T5's isn't "intensity".....It's spectrum.....Manipulate the spectrum and expose the plants to their light saturation point and "viola".......Quality! The use of HID or "MH/HPS" is not a requirement to "Fire plants"!
@Gary Goodson Great job and nice to have a post where the idea of light "intensity" has been shown that great things can be done with T5's and low watt HID lighting in average space grows..
The ongoing belief that you "need" to run high watt (600&1K) HID in smaller area's to produce yields has had me rather on edge the last few days.....Trying to understand some folks mind set that you can't produce over 1lb of dried product with a 600 has had me frosty......

Aw, I just know some smarty will chime in that 3 T5 banks are 1335 + or- watts......Light Intensity is not measured in watts!

@Dubbz415 The other reason I like this post is yours! SOG style growing! I was trying to get this young man to understand that he could reach his yield goal in a 4x4 area by going SOG with the amount of seedlings he has vs his available space restrictions....
Someone said that I can't yield 2lbs in a 4x4 with a flip at 12"......I would rather do that flip at 8", but the OP wanted taller plant's and bigger yields (That's an old story) and I was told that what I proposed was "impossible"......LOL...I answered "I've done that, years ago"!
The point being,,,your yield from direct 12/12 ! Just imagine what you would yield if you could fill that whole 2x3 space!
In limited height grows. SOG should be the first thing considered for yield..... 8 zips in a 2x2 SOG no problem!
