If growing under 12-12 from seed how do you determine the start of flowering? Opposed to 18-6 and then the flip to 12-12.

Rethink the 12/12 from seed IMO. Vegging for 2weeks would increase yield substantially, again IMO. Tried it a few times and was really disappointed in final yields.

In my experience they throw pistils or drop balls between day 35 to 40 when 12/12 from seed...count from there and subtract one week from the breeders guide lines .

My quickest was 21 days from seeds to show sex but generally it takes 30-40 days. Use large pot fr the start and don't transplant.

Why not start it at 14/10 then as it gets a node or two take time down to 12/12 slowly..
It will probably be worth your time more and not much on electric...

Just imo never done that before

I only been growing for 11 months it's a noob idea of mine..:bigjoint:

To me, this is like trying to get a baby through infancy faster by skipping the breast. I wouldn't.

You're just losing valuable growth time and losing big at harvest time. But if you have absolutely no choice, I guess... really the plant just goes "oh crap, it's the end of season already" and jumps to flower... I wouldn't expect any ill effects besides puny returns.

I wouldn't try to clone those though...
