120 micron hash vs 90 micron vs 73?

Been growing for some time but I was never able to make good quality hash. Now I can buy a 120-90-73 etc micron mesh and I was wondering, for people who are more experienced, what kind of mesh do you use to get your kief and what micron should I get?

I run with a # 90 silk screen in the usa, sizes seem to run different in parts of the world

It's been a while but I am going to make a batch here this week I hope.

Lets see...a common misconception is the lower the screen, the better the hash...Not entirely true. The 25 micron I don't even save anymore...I let it go right down the drain! For me, the 36 ,73 and 90 are typically the best and will usually produce full melt bubble hash (it melts when you heat it), depending on the strain. The 120 is decent too but I usually save that for cooking/food grade.

I have a a set from Bubblebagdude that are decent...Keep them clean...I soak them in vinegar and then wash them in hot water in the washing machine immediately after use.

I have the same set as above. When you're running it through the bags it's hella easier to just run your 220 catch 120, 90 and 45. Drains faster. Then you can take it all and run it through all 8 bags if you want. Then I take all the water and run it through the 25 by itself. I'll save that hash for edibles.
There's def a diff between the grades. Better the hash the faster it gets soft when heated up. (And takes less heat to do so)
To clean I just dunk it in 99% alcohol and rinse in cold water.

Get a set of bags rather than looking at one particular micron size mesh, different varieties of weed have different trich head sizes so you want options.

Definitely clean right after use. Mine got kinda gunky and clogged, working on cleaning them after the fact had been a chore.

After many runs, and getting my setup dialed in for me, I run 220-160-90-45-25
And only smoke the 90 & 45 and run the 160 & 25 in edibles. Just like growing, everyone has a way that suits them. The one thing that I do, is right after scraping the screen off, dunk it in Isopropyl Alcohol, swish it around, then rinse with cold water, and hang to dry. This way, I have clean screens for every wash, and don't have to worry about them gunking up and clogging, ask me how I know, LOL
There is a difference in grades, and you have to find what suits you, my 45 is a very nice "sativa" type high, very cerebral, and my 90 is more "couch lock"
As much as I like flower, I enjoy my hash much better, and next years outdoor run will be strictly for hash, the wife enjoys the hash much Better also, and it's nice keeping her happy!!!!!!!!!!!,

110 is dry sift, it can still be blonde but you'll have impurities like plant matter etc in it..
90 micron is more like bubble hash kinda
70 micron is too fine unless you're using it to filter rosin or solvents.
