Hello Everyone. Im going to post my first grow attempt here. All comments and suggestions are welcomed.

These babies were started on 2/5/2010

The latest pictures were taken 2/16/2010

My Room:
3.5x3.5 Grow Tent
400W Air Cooled MH/HPS
3x3 Ebb & Flow System
4 inch In-Line Fan 165 CFM
De-Humidifier

Nutes:
House and Garden Aqua Flakes A + B Set
House and Garden Roots Excelurator

Seeds:
1 Purple Urkle
1 Kind Bud
Few Bag Seed

Im waiting on seeds that I ordered. God Bud, Kush and White Widow.

good stuff dude like the same setup i got just started..house and garden is good shit man..i got the whole line up and its fukin money...only thing i can say is to use budxl and shooting powder in late flower u wont regret it..

Thanks Colorado love. I'll be setting up my second room tonight for Flowering. Im excited.

Royboy: I cant say enough good shit about the House and Garden products. They seem f'in sick!! It was highly reccomended to me from a very big medical grower. I gotta say, my girls seem to love it!! One of the other products that he told me I had to get was the shooting powder!!!!! He talks about this shit like its the best stuff on earth!! I cant wait to be at that stage!!

Do you guys think they are looking ok? One plant had yellow tips on the bottom leaves which I don't think is a big deal because the rest of the leaves have stayed green.

Alot of my stems are a nice purple. Does that mean anything? Does it mean it's a purple strain? Or no?

Also, I'm watering in the ebb and flow every 2 hours. Is that too often?

I appreciate any help and advice. Thanks guys.

This is a very decent setup for the 1st growing!

How many ppm do you feed them? and how often/long do you flood the table?
The ph seems to be fine as they have a nice color.

Started the thread/grow off right man really nicely done. Using House and Garden my self good line of nutes

You just running seeds to flower or going to be taking a mother or two later?

The chart says to add 1 mL of nutes for every 1 gallon of water. Im also using the root excelurator too that is strong, so I cut the nutes down a bit. I'll feed them more if they show me they are hungry. Seems like it's been working ok so far. I'll post up some new pics Tuesday. Viewing tonight, and funeral tomorrow so I'll get them up latest Tuesday.

I flood the table for 15 minutes every two hours. Is that too much?

Should I start cutting off those big leaves or no? The only ones I trimmed off were the first two leaves. Are all of the other leaves needed?

They looked good to me from the pics but time has passed so the new pics will give me a different idea maybe.

I would put the ebbaflow on three times a day.1. one hour after lights on, 3. two hours before lights off, 2.then pick a time in the middle of that for the second water feeding.

As for the purple stems i have just heard on a youtube video its a sign of a little plant problem might not be a big one but i guess a perfect healthy plant with no problems will only have green stems and branchs, :lol:

Hmm trim leaves no way man unless your taking clones, there is really no reason to trim leaves until the harvest. the big fan leaves are the foundation kinda for the plant and buds. reading on another thread they are like solar panels taking in all the light putting it to good use inside the plant ya dig ;-)

. Even if they start turning yellow you do not have to cut them after awhile they will die off, thats the best way for them to go, unless you do not like looking at them you can remove them but it is not serving a purpose for the plant, might actually be hurting it.

You can trim the bottom of the plant if you want for more air flow up into the top or if your making lollipops for the flowering room. Should not trim or take clones from any plant after two weeks of flowering, you can but its not recommended.

Looking good, looking really good :clap:

Might want to tuck the big fan leaves from the middle plants under the leaves of the boarder plants, the middle ones seem to be the biggest dont want them to start taking over the top and out grow the others

Was wondering how far away do you keep the light, and hook us up with a pic of the light, i see the ducing on the first post.

Thank you very much!! Ok will do. I keep the light 12" to 18" away at all times. Seems to work pretty well. I'll get a picture of the light later on today. Just got the second tent for flower up and ready to go with the Sodium bulb. These babies should be ready in about a week to 10 days for 12/12. Then its time to start the God Bud and Kush. Cant wait!!!

Hopefully they'll be ready for the flower tent by Friday or Saturday. Cant wait to get these babies under some Sodium Light.

The flower tent is the same exact setup but has the Sodium instead of the Halide.
