1st grow ever - indoor bag seeds

Hello everyone. this is my first grow ever. i am currently using flourescent bulbs until the veg period begins but so far everything is going as planned. i am going to switch to about 8-10 26w (1600lumen) CFL's after this week is over. i plan on weeding out the males once i can tell from the preflower, but that wont be for another few weeks. currently they are starting their second week. i am using peat pots and organic soil and i got the seeds form some humboldt bud and some "old school" from the club. i have a de-ionizing fan blowing on them and just added anothe grow light. the only thing im worried about right now is the stretching, if someone could tell me if they are looking alright that would be awesome. any tips would be greatly appreciated and i will be posting my questions to you as well, so check back often. happy tokes!!!

but you do have "Stretch" taking place..
You need to move your lights closer!
if you dont your stem will grow so long that it wont be able to support the plant and will collapse...

So move the light's about 4-5 inches from the top of the plant and you should see the plants growing more leave's instead of growing in height.

how can you tell for sure if they are stretching? i want to keep these as low and bushy as possible.

so the new light was wack and now i have 2 26/100w cfl's with 1600lumens pumpin out of each. plus the two flouresent tubes used for sprouting. we found new, outdoor homes for the egg carton bunch: in fields and the hills nearby haha. now down to 18 seedlings that are 10 days old. ill have pics of the new setup later. until then..peace
