To be completely honest I have not seen the roots there not coming out the bottom so have just left them beOr are their roots swirling around the edges of the soil densely?
I'd say if you can transplant transplant. No not that I can see I thought with them being autos they would be fine start to finish in 6 litre pot but not sure now as they are growing well I have 10 litre air pots that I could transplant them into if this would be benificial.
Just a bitI'd say if you can transplant transplant.
I'd say if you can transplant transplant.
But will keeping them in the pots there in now course any problems as with learning and there going well hoping to avoid transplanting themI'd say if you can transplant transplant.
So u would recommend transplanting them to the 10 ltr air pots I haveI had an easier time going from solos, but I transplanted with not even a hiccup.
I filled my 3 gallon airpots with soil, used a solo cup to embed into the soil for a mold, if you will. With my empty solo in place, I watered the soil in my 3 gallon airpot. I then carefully turned my attention to my baby auto, and when the solo cup was pretty much dried, I massaged it gently to loosen and then popped it out. (I was surprised how much growth was in there for only 2 weeks).
I then removed the blank solo cup from the soil, put the transplant in the exact space the cup was occupying and then water it. I feel like everything went together perfectly with ZERO stress to my lady.
I certainly don't take credit for this method, just a method I found on RIU and it worked awesome for me. I think 6L will be pushing it towards the end of flowering, but it could probably be done.
Yes I mean I have red that magnum autos don't mind late transplants but with my in experience would rather not transplant but if it will benifitting my plants I will happily do it as I have the space I am growing in a 1.2 mtr by 1.2 by 2 metre tentAfter reading your original post again, to transfer from a 6l to a 10l, might not be worth it. Although, the Magnums get pretty big for autos.
I'm going to defer to someone with a bit more experience. Honestly, I don't think it would hurt to transplant from 6L to 10L, but not sure if the transplant would be as easy (I don't see why not) if it was going to a bigger pot. I do think you might have a better yield with a larger pot, but I guess it comes down to risk vs. reward. So u would recommend transplanting them to the 10 ltr air pots I have
Thanks alot ill make a decision today on transplant as don't want to effect plants yield as I have space for bigger pots thanks for ur inputI'm going to defer to someone with a bit more experience. I certainly will be watching if you update from time to time. Good luck!
10 litre is 2.2 gallonsWhat's 10 liters/litres to gallons?
You probably should consider it, then, if it's auto and going to be large. While it's still veg'ing.10 litre is 2.2 gallons
Oh crap I thought with autos life being shorter and everything set in motion they would be fine in 6 litre pots which is 1.4 gallons or close but decisions to be madeI usually hear big plants in 3-5 gallon containers.
That is possible, I honestly have never grown autos. But I doubt an extra gallon would hurt.Oh crap I thought with autos life being shorter and everything set in motion they would be fine in 6 litre pots which is 1.4 gallons or close but decisions to be made
