Day 12 Vegg

Hey guys, starting my 1st good grow here. i tried some bagseed first to get my skills going and now ill try a good strain!

Closet Grow

Strain - Northern Lights Auto Fem

Medium - MG organic choice potting mix with MG perlite about 70%/30% mix

Water - tap let sit for 48hrs, about 7 ph'd. Runoff is between 6.2-6.4

Light - Cfls for seedling stage, Plantmax 400 Watt HPS, Lumatek Digital Ballast, Xtrasun Light Hood. On 20/4 light schedule.

Nutrients - Technaflora starter kit, BC Boost Grow and Bloom, Awesome Blossom, Thrive Alive B-1 (green and red), Root 66, MagiCal,Sugar Daddy, and Grandmas Molasass Also got some General hydroponics Ph up and down

Exhaust - 6 Inch 510Cfm fan

Intake - 2 - 4 Inch 80cfm fans

Fan - 6 Inch Oscillating fan

Feeding Schedule - Feed Water Feed

Odor Control - 6 Inch Carbon Filter for Flowering

Temps - 75-86 Degrees during the day 70ish at night
Humidity - 30%-50% during the day not sure at night lol

These have been vegging for about 11-12 days so far, had them under 2-26 watt cfls for seedling stage and just put them under the HPS today. I got the light about 13-14 inches from the girls.Just fed them a mix of grow, boost, thrive alive sugar daddy and magical at half str a couple days ago. Hopefully i can get a decent amount of smoke from these! And My pits are in there too lol

Nice setup. I'm going to be getting a 400 w HPS soon. I know it will help the flowering process boom.

How are your girls doing?

Hey Chem, nice setup you got there. I would go for MH for vegging, if I were U. The spectrum that the MH gives off is more suited to Veg. than an HPS. That's what the horticulturist's say anyway. The HPS is for flowering. The MH has the right Kelvin scale for Veg, 6500K. The HPS is usually 2700K or so. Which is flowering. Also, I would get rid of the MG stuff asap. When you transplant, put them in some FF Ocean Forest. I used MG for my first grow, and it sucked. I'm using FF OF now, and it's amazing the difference. Not pushing FF, but I do believe in their product. It works so much better than MG. Just been my experience anyway.
