1st Topped White Widow Grow. Multiple Tops!!

-Vegged under T5 6 Bulb Fixture in Ebb and Flow for 5 Weeks.
-House and Garden Aqua Flakes Nutes Used for Veg including Roots Excelurator
-Now Flowering Under 400W HPS Using House and Garden Nutes in Ebb and Flow

This is my widow that I used the topping method on. I topped it at around 6 different node sites starting at the very first node. She stayed very short and bushy. Vegged her for 5 weeks. Shes now in 3rd week of flower. Shes starting to bud everywhere. Shes only about 12-14" tall. I count about 12 bud sites at the very top of the plant and many more below. Trichomes are already starting to frost the leaves. Cant wait to see this baby a few weeks from now.

What do you guys think?

Ok so here's the deal. I need some feedback.

I upgraded a little bit. I currently have 3 tents. 1 Veg and 2 Flower. All ebb and flow systems with House and Garden Nutes. My first grow I only had 400W Lights. My new grow will be much different. I will now have 800W HPS in 1 of the Flower tents and 1000W HPS in the other flower tent. My Veg tent I use T5 System with Blue Spectrum Flouro's.

Will my yield be much better with the upgrades in HPS lights? Especially if I only flower 3 topped plants in each Flower tent?

Im thinking rather than grow a ton of plants at once, I could flower a few in each tent and the plants will receive more light and grow bigger buds. Do all agree?

Pics are of 1 of my flower tents.

I have a White Widow and a clone in flower. Going into 4th week.

As you can see I added a 2nd 400W Sodium in the tent. So I have 800W of Sodium on the Widow and Clone.

Will this increase the growth rate?

adding an extra 400w hps, as you have will increase overall yield as you are increasing the intesity of the light for an overall area though you must consider that it applies as follows a 400w hps will cover an area of 3ft x 3ft sufficiently, now if the spread of your plants grows beyond the realm of 3ft x 3ft then that is where the extra light will really come in handy (the optimum distance for your 400w hps is to be placed at a distance of 30 - 40 cm away from the growing tips, provided there is sufficient ventilation to carry the heat from the fragile tips :fire:

(try COOLTUBES, they're awsome if heat persists and this allows plants to get even closer))

to answer the question if your grow tent is 6ft x 4ft or so this will show (as described above) there would be 1 400w hps placed 1.5 ft frow left hand side ceiling and then a 2ft gap between lights and the second placed 1.5 ft from the right hand side wall of the tent. allowing the optimum spread of light, 400w hps can spread up to 4ft x 4ft, after 3ft x 3ft the light intensity decreases substantially but if a close by light can overlap that area that will overcome the issue.

My details are 1 4x2 Veg tent with T5 Blue tubes and 2 3x3 Flower tents. I had 1 400W HPS in each Flower tent originally. Now I moved both 400W Air Cooled HPS Lights into the one Flower tent and plan on buying either a 600W or 1000W for the other tent. Temps jumped from 78-80 up to 88. Im going to add a small oscillating fan to keep the air moving around. So in my 3x3 Flower tents with 800-1000W how many plants would be ideal for optimal light usage? 3 in each tent? All will be topped and bushy. Im thinking 3 in each so that each plant would be receiving a nice amount of light.

Sound good?

Here's a pic update:

Veg Tent: Kush, God Bud and White Widow Under T5 Blue Fluoro's (4th Week Veg)

Flower Tent: White Widow and Bag Seed Clone Under 800W Sodium (4th Week Flower)

All plants in Veg have been topped multiple times as you can tell by the many bud sites.

Widow was topped multiple times during veg as you can tell by the multiple tops.

Everything is looking really healthy and the Widow bud sites have really exploded since she went under 800W instead of 400W.

Does anyone know anything about Bud Candy? If so, is this just a additive? For instance, I keep using my regular flowering nutes and just add this also, correct?

Here's a big picture update. The topped widow is 42 Days into Flower. The Vegged females are 42 Days into Veg. They will most likely be going into the other flower tent by next weekend. Im thinking SCROG under my 1000W HPS.

Only 4 Days after adding the first dose of shooting powder the buds already doubled in size. Wow that shit really is amazing!!

8 other females from the Veg pictures will be going under 1000W HPS tomorrow night!!! Cant wait!!!
