I'm using 2 150w CFL full spectrum 6500k and 2 75w CFL full spectrum 3500k for 7 girls in Miracle Grow. was using 10-15-10 food up till i started 12/12, however i'm having trouble finding 5-10-5 for this stage. keeping room temp between 70-75, except for a night when temps outside dropped to single digits a coupld weeks ago and my heater went out...

Looks good. Keep an eye on those temps you don't want it dropping till the last couple weeks of flower. Are there any grow stores in your area? You can do alot better then miracle grow in the finishing stage. Not hating on miracle grow I used it in the 70's when there weren't many other choices. Shop around your plants will thank you for it. Good luck!

looks good, try to keep that heater up and I don't if two 75w CFL will yield much with seven girls. Have you ever thought of an MH or HPS bulb? I know you have to buy a ballast but it is worth the money in the long run. Look up the lucas method for feeding you plants, its simple and works awesome, I did my first run using that method and only the two nutes its requires and had an amazing first yield off one plant 3.5oz's.my cab.jpg

i put the 75w CFLs in cause i was concerned about the high Kelvin the 150s put out...i have 2 100w CFL i can exchange the 75s for, but they're 6500k. Is that too much? i understand that's the "heat" power representing the sun and during the flower stage I'm supposed to be imitating Fall, the season of flowering? should i go ahead and switch? I opted for CFL mainly because this is my first time and if i can get a good grow this way i'll upgrade next time around :-P

Looking good, but you might want to start thinking about moving to an hps 400/600 setup now that you are getting into some higher watts. Youll get a good bit more light then you will off the cfls for the same electric bill. Buds are starting to look lovely

i've noticed that the girls closer to the bulbs putting out 3700k are much fuller flowers than the ones closer to the 6500k, could this be due to the 3700k's seem to omit a more orange glow? would the hps resolve this?

Yes the spectrum from the hps will deliver whats needed for flowering. The 6500k is much more blueish and much more suited to veg/clone room.

Well it's been said that 6400k is for veg stage and 2700k is for flowering. I guess you should be using more 2700k. Replace the 6000+k bulbs.

I agree with Loola, I've used nothing but CFLs so far haven't had any issues but I don't use any 6400k bulbs during the flowering. If you can replace all your CFLs with 2700k.

Cheers

looking incredible for two weeks into flower. can i see a picture of the whole plant?

5-10-5 and 10-15-10 are the same type of food. just use that. how many times have you fed it throughout its life? i only feed every 3-4 weeks.
