24 hours of darkness before flowering?

so, I have been told that if you put your plants into a 24 hour darkness when you start to flower that you will see the flower faster? anybody ever heard of this? I also heard the same when harvest time comes, it will bring more sticky buds....hydroponicultrasupersonic!

No basis for it. I veg 24/7 and one night I turn the lights out for 12 hrs and that's it.

All I do is veg for a month and a half 18/6 then i just flip it on 12/12 and flower. Illegal smile how much harvest do you get by doing the veg 24/7 and how long does it take you to harvest.

what about turning the lights out at harvest time does that make the buds more sticky? and what do you mean by 24/7? is that 24 hour light then seven hour darkness?

24/7 means light on all the time. I have never seen any scientific evidence that dark periods aid a plant in veg. So all else equal, I think the grow faster in veg on 24 hr light. I veg for 5 weeks and flower for 9.

I've used a dark period before harvest and didn't notice any difference.

Again, no real evidence that I know of but it would make much difference on that end. What you do prior to the last 24 hrs is more important than anything you can do then.

nope this is a myth..same wit sticking tacks in stalks , boiling roots etc... if you cant get it done in a couple months y would u be able to do it in one or two days.. dont listen to the myths bro good luck on your grow
