240W LED Light with 36w

ohoy there led growers!
im just wondering if you guys think i can grow some decent autos with this light?
(Please say yes becouse it just arived at my door! xD )

im currently testing out the 16W with a almost dead parsley(hope google translate worked there xD)

it seems to like it!
It sprouts out like crazy after some trimming and watering first day and letting it stand aprox 15cm from the light.
immage's too big and dont feel like learning how to rezize atm xD

so my question rly comes down to :

do you guys think i can grow some decent autos with this setup?

dont have alot of growing experience

have grown some white widows in a grow room with 2x 400w hps lights and it turned out ok, but not nearly as good as it should have been.

so i've taken all the experience from that time (All the things i did wrong) and i hope to sucsess this time by fully comitting to this!

gonna make a cabin that's 140cm H x 60cm D x 80cm wide

shoulda asked these questions before ordering lights. for around 170 bucks you can get a nice 600w HID system and thats what i would have recomended. Im sure them things will grow your plant, yeild wise i dont know you might end up alright if you can keep a fairly even canopy so you can get them lights as close as possible to the plant.

yea indeed retierdMatthebrute! I Really should, but the problem are the heat/power those things make/drain , my landlord is kinda strict on the power usage here, so that's why i wanted to try led!

hmm. maby i should get a 100Wcfl or something for supply light? hmm.

soon done painting the crow cabin white now! just put on the 2nd layer of white primer, and are going to use some bathroom white (with extra glance?)
got all the nessesary stuff, cant wait to put it all together!

will make a grow post in that section when i'm upp and running in a weeks time or so!

edit : should i use those 16w's for supply lightning from the start or after a while if i see some points not getting enoufh light? = ) or are they just totally worthless?

^^^yeah you can grow two autos under that light, auto #1 stay short and bushy(hopefully) so you let them grow out naturally..
Take it easy with water and ferts under leds........painting your room white is fine, but a big NO on extra "glance?" gloss....FLAT white reflects best, don't forget to add titanium dioxide and fungicide to the paint...........good luck

Ive got a similar light to that from a couple of years ago
I use it as a back up
trouble with them is they are a bit intense with all those leds packed together and tend to get a bit hot compared to my newer ones
the reason I really dont like it though is ITS SO BLOODY NOISY
it sounds like an aircraft taking off
again compared to the newer ones Ive tried (lots of little fans going hell for leather) and over 6 months of using them (probably the real time its been running over the last two years) Ive had to replace 2 of the fans and had a burn on the panel itself when they failed
however I still use it when I want to add a few more watts into the room to finish plants off
It should be ok mate just perhaps not the best choice in hindsight

This one makes way to much noise aswell so im thinking of taking it apart to replace them for some silent ones. maby i can uppgrade the coolingribs(my english aint the best as im from Norway, but hope you guys understand ) aswell? hmm.


the light seems a bit intense, so will come with an uppdate on that awsell as time goes by

got 3years of warranty on it tho, so will try setting it up first to see the actual noise from the whole cabin before i am going to open it.

got some nice flat white today! will be painted and dry by the day after tomorrow! cant wait! ( My seeds should bee here anny day now! so this is perfect!^^)

think i'l go with the small ones as support, since my persila is just loving the light from one of them and growing like crazy

You guys think it can handle 2x auto #1 and a normal plant? (thinking of vegging a photo and turning it into flower when the autos are complete)

then my guess is 20hours on and 4 off.

im prepared to lose some of the yield on the autos for a photo aswell,
as it have come to my understanding by reading on these forums that you cant/shouldn't run a photo plant on 24/7 in vegging phase as it will slow down root dev. to much and the end results will be bad.

right? no? hmm. my notebook is starting to fill upp!
just glad im writing with clearable ink! so i can doublecheck and fix my mistakes,(misshaps?)

just dont want it to end up so fluffybuddy like my last ww grow with hps!
