2nd grow having plant problems

Ok, details on my grow
Hydro ebb&flow, 3 water periods, Dutchmaster Flower A&B, PH 5.5-6.0
25 Gal. tank. changed every two weeks
Alternate tap and RO water. When using RO I add GH Flora Micro
2 400W HPS lights
Week 5 of flower on 12/12
Temps in the lower 80s-upper 70's F

I am thinking nute burn, but I don't want to second guess myself so I am asking for some help from more experienced people.

If this is a difficiency, how much of what per gallon do I need to add?

OK, no response but I have been doing my homework. I am going with a mag. deficiency. I read that 1 tablespoon per gal of water of Epsom salt. That seemed like a lot for a 25 gal. tank so I added 20 tablespoons and adjusted PH.
I am due to change my tank this weekend so I will see if things get better or go more down hill.

i think it's a nitrogen problem. is when your plant has yellow spots on it. use rain water or nutes with high nitro in them. check that out them PM me on how it goes.... Good Luck and hope your plants get healed.

Thanks. I change my solution every two weeks, and I am coming up to change time this weekend. Maybe they have used up all the nitrogen and I should change more ofter.
I have a PPM pen, but with the hydroten rock, it messes up the numbers due to rock dust even though they were fully cleaned. Thats why I just dump the solution every two weeks.
My leaves look more like the mag def. pics that the nitro def. pics...but it is close enough looking for both.

Looks more like you have too much N
how much dutch master you using?
I use the DM Advanced, is it the same as you are?
What mix are you using???

OK, since things happen fast in hydro I dumped my tank and re-filled.
My tank is 25 US gallons.
My nutes are DM Advanced flower parts A&B. I am using it the same way as I did my first grow. If I did my math right, for 25 gallons of water would come out to 16.5 fluid oz of both parts.

I cleaned the tank. It has a lot of residue in it, but I am guessing its from the 20 tablespoons of Epsom salt I put in the other night (it had two water cycles on that). I also clean my pump, recirculating fish tank power head to help agitate and aerate my solution, and the fish tank heater which has not been turned on this time around.

Step 1 Filled with 25 gal. of RO water. Tested at 94 PPM PH 7 (PPM higher than normal because of possible residue I didn't get cleaned off.

Step 2 Added GH flora micro 250ml for 25 gal. PPM 116 PH 6.6

Step 3 Added DM advanced flower A&B PPM 3130 PH 5.62

Step 4 Added 10 tablespoons of Epsom salt to boost magnesium. 3670 PPM 5.56 PH

I DID NOT add any other nitrogen as I am not sure if putting in some of my veg. powdered nutes would mess up the balance of everything else.

So total new tank has 3670PPM minus the water start of 94PPM equals a solution PPM of 3576 PPM.

I always get high numbers like that when I start and that's why I don't track PPM and just change the tank every two weeks.

This too high? Should I start dumping some out and dilute it down with RO to a lower PPM number?

I think the epsom salts is the right answer. Calcuim and/or magnesium def. CAlmag might have been a better answer in hydro though. 1 tblspoon per gallon is for soil, sounds like a bit much for hydro though. Its definitly not a N def.

I don't have any Calmag so you think the Epsom salt will do the trick? I only put in 10 tablespoon for the 25 gal. as I thought 1 tablespoon per gal seemed really high and too much mag. will cause other lock out problems.

After some investigation, Im positive you have a calcium def and I dont think that the epsom salts are going to help you. you really need some calmag. I realize that you dont have any, but its worth whatever you have to do to get some. I dont do hydro so i dont know what all that epsom salts will do. I though everyone doing hydro had to have calmag?

Increase the flora micro. Doesn't that have calcium in it. Read the bottle lol.

Hey umm...if your lacking calcium maybe use less RO water and more tap??

I was rotating between RO and Tap when I change solutions to avoid what your pointing out.

I saw this problem the last two weeks of my 1st grow, but since I was switching to flush, it didn't progress far. It's starting early this time around.
