2nd Time Grower, Really Need Help My Fellow Friends!!

Hi, just another newbie grower looking for help from more advanced gardeners! I have 3 soil plants... And i also have 3 hydro plants, the small third hydro had just been transfered from soil grow to Hydro. ALL SOIL GROWS IN THE PICS WERE PLANTED SAME TIME! I used a different type of soil with the BIGGEST PLANT, i call her Hulk Weed. My hydro looks ill, or sickly IMO. I also want to top and clone the Biggest one, into rockwool for hydro. I want to get more information on what parts of the big plant are able to be removed, and maybe a few hints and tips on what to do to help my grow any? I know this is a messy grow... Please no hating i just want to learn! Heres the pics all help is wanted and needed! hehe!:leaf:

I use on the hydro a 70 watt plant light floodlight style, and on the big soil grow i have a 120w bulb plant grow light from phillips i got from Home Depot!
Im afraid im burning my plants sometimes, but want more light, if anyone can help me understand how to not burn but give more light, at very low cost?
Im using no Nutrients, Just PH Leveled water, and watering the soil grow with it.
How far should my 120w Flood-Light style Grow Light be from the top of my 19 inch plant????

ALSO WHY IS THE ONE HYDRO SO YELLOW IN SPOTS, AND DAMAGED? if anyone knows please inform me i be ever so happy! :D

Oh, The hydro is about 2 in a half 3 weeks of age.
The soil grow, including the small hydro plant i just switched from soil, are a month and a week old.
The big plant is 19 Inches is that good or bad?
I just got my seeds out of a bag of normal weed, some normal good weed, i had taken the most "tigered striped" seeds out of my batch.

.........................dont remove noting there wont be anthing left ;) get some cfls in there if you can and get them as close as poss ;)

im sorry, what are the cheapest CFLs? i was going to get the aquarium plantlight, tubelights from a pet shop i heard that is a good cheap way to do it, whats your personal advice for a lowbudget succesful lighting for my grow sir?:bigjoint:

If thats a philips aggro light throw it in the garbage, creates all kinds of heat and doesn't have the optimal spectrums for growing weed.
.. Sorry I had to break it to you..

It looks blueish when the bulb is off, correct?

i use envirolite cfls for veg ( 160w dual spec ) with house hold cfls for extra lumens if i need them. more high watt 2700ks if your in veg. im not gonna ask for location but what country as im uk?

i was bringin him out of that with out stickin the sword trough lol dnt prod him ;)

Yes it is blue, i need you to help me if you would, with a link to the cheapest and most useful light i can use for about 2-3 plants in the closet, is the aquarium thing good? i really need quick advice and thanks for letting me know about the bulb lol, i knew that son of a b was hotter than usual, has my hole upstairs 100 degrees, i have to air out the hole upstairs everyday...

haha, yea man, definitely appreciate the advice guys keep it coming, i done so much research but at this point i need real growers to help me get on the right level, and thanks for your time! Im looking to spend $40 dollars at the most on the light, and if im able to do so, that would be barrowed money kind of thing feel me? so what exactly should i chose for the lights?

No disrespect MrStranger, but like you I did the same thing ;) i hope you feel better now haha. CFLs or HID

2700k spectrum color for flower when using cfls and 5000-6500k when using cfl for veg. When you buy them dont look at watt equivalency is look at what the light consumes.

or you could use HIDs like Metal halide for veg and High pressure sodium for Flower

I'm happy you classified me as a "real grower" it made me feel special, but nah man Im waiting for my fkn MMAR so I learnt all kinds of shit while I wait to be legal.

Like on a CFL box from home depot they will say shit like 42w= 150w

what that means is that cfl will use 42 watts and put out the light of a 150w incandescent

(DO NOT USE INCANDESCENTS LOL!!!)

so its not 150 watts shining on your plant its actually 42, if you would want 150w of real power used you would need to buy like 4 of them to make 168w

42x4=168

not 4x150=600 (would be nice though)

now they say you need like 100w for the first plant then 50 for each additional one, but some also say 100w per plant (the more the better IMO)

so for 4 plants you would need like 250-400w but then you have to measure your grow space and find out how many lumens per square foot your putting out
10 000 is optimal but you could do with 7000 lumens per square foot

Ps: If any of this is wrong feel free to correc people. As I am only a learner at this point, No hands on!

Well one cfl per plant could be possible if you buy stronger cfls.
They have cfls that go up to 200w each! But not at home depot... Lol

It really comes down to lumens per/foot

But for us to determine that you'd have to write me your dimensions (length width and height) of the room your using
