What's the best options for my set up. I thought I'd wait till I knew my babies were all females. I got 2x600 watt lights running on them. I had one hps and one mh, but I switch both to the flowering one(forgive me I forget what's what, but the yellow looking one) about a week ago when I switched them to 12/12. I got a 4..5x 8 foot area set up w the lights 4 feet apart and centered In the room with 1 foot on eachside for grooming so a 4x6 flower space. I am aquiring a 400w for veg and am going to use it to hold mothers and clones in a separate part of the room from the flowering, that I will section off. I want to utilize my space and equipment as efficiently as possible, so any advice? I got a large room and 2x1ft closet also in the room which is about 8x8. Here is a few pics. I think we wanna keep two mothers. Hard to choose. They are in soil, but I think we might try and set up dro. I catn upload pics on my phone, so here are links

Come on.... Anything? I was looking at ebb flow table Of 3x4 for each light and get a light mover by the end. This crop should yield enough to reinvest. There are so many options and I've read for days. This is my first grow... I was thinking cutting clones now, 2 weeks into flwr, then put them under the 400 mh. Take 1 first generation mother, to increse profit. I will wait 3 to 5 weeks and put them in my flower room so that I can get a perpetual grow going. I think I can make one ebb and make a transition from soil to ebb. I might take clones of each strain and try to make mothers. I don't know how this will work. Any advice would be appreciated I want a high yield w ease.

Well you have many options, but if I had (2) 600w & 400w, I probably would setup a 4x8 flowering room with all three lights. Buy a 50 dollar 4 bulb t8 from home depot (once the mothers were mature), build a DIY cloner and sog the shit out of it. Keeping mothers and cloner under the t8. I know you didn’t include the t8 in there, but with the savings of running the 400 at 12 hours you will be able to afford it in a month or two. Or just leave the 400 out and buy the t8, as in your setup you really wouldn’t need that many clones, honestly.

You can create your harvest how ever you want in the 4x8 flower. Section it off in (4) 2x4’s so 4 areas that need to be filled every two weeks. Or just (2) 4x4 sections filling and harvesting every 4 weeks. Now you might be tempted to go every 2 weeks in the area, but when I only had two flowering tents I did just that and it was hell. It wasn’t the best experience, because I just felt cramped and had issues timing a lot of my waterings. But that’s just me and I’m somewhat lazy! Lol.

1-2 plant per square would be great in this setup without any veg.

I also would recommend this book:
http://www.amazon.com/Sea-Green-Perpetual-Harvest-Hans/dp/0964785811

It’s not a great book in regards to growing, and how to care for. But it’s a great book to read in regards to a SOG setup. But he doesn’t comment on straight to flower method that Al B Fuct documented. He recommends about a 2 week veg period. When I get home I’ll post a pic of my current setup using this method.

-Enjoy

With an ebb flow? I think that's the easiest route. Will the flouros be able to hold mothers? You see my plants are mini
Monsters. This weekend I'm building the veg section of my room n gamma trow at least one mother n a lot of clones in there

Those look great man...good beefy trunks...I am just putting together a 2-600w closet. It is only 2x8....thinking of using a light mover for better light distribution...

Have you checked out what Hobbes has done with one 600w with a light mover??? https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/360125-new-growers-needed-grow-lab.html

I'm sticking with SuperSoil and SmartPots...pretty simple killer organic system...a lot easier to water 7 or 10 gallon pots once every three or four days...but that's just my preference...
