Here is my Arjans Ultra haze 1 at 38 days old under a 42 watt daylight CFL. My intentions with her is a mother-plant. She's tall with hand size leaves, but the branches are only 1 1/2" with only 4 leaves.

Three Questions:

I want her to be around the same hight but wider and lots of branches to clone from, What should I do?

Maybe I should use a clone for a mother plant and flower this one? But I heard doing that will reduce the potency and yield... but that sounds like a stupid rummer. What do you think?

The setup I'm ordering for her is a 2.5 X 2.5 X 4.5 tent and a 150 metal handle. any suggestions?

you could top her or lst her to get her more bushy (check the FAQ) you sure its a female right don't wanna clone a male plant....

personally i would top her allow he to get the same height as before (but bushier) and then put her into flower..... she is gonna get huge.... maybe even double that size in flower!! looks like a lovely plant though... she will love the new lights... you gonna flower under the MH?

i think that does sound like a stuip rumour....

Great Idea, I'll top her soon. how far down from the top should I cut? I'm Gonna flower her under a 400 watt HPS. I'm gonna order two grow tents one with a 175 watt MH for my mother plants and a big tent with a 400w HPS for flowering. I chose this strain because they yield over a pound outdoors and up to 800g indoors so I'm really expecting a tall, big yielding plant... can't wait.

sweet sounds good mate! i would make the snip just above the second set of nodes from the top.. however with that plant LST might be the way forward.. if you bend the top of the plant down gently so it is lower than the other branches they will recieve more growth hormone and produce more shoots... therefore bushier plants and less stress hence Low stress training!!

check this thread https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/6834-how-lst-low-stress-training.html

don't think you need to go that heavy on it but the first few steps would work fine...

You could also supercrop it. This will promote some lateral branching, whilst preventing the plant getting taller. I prefer this to topping, since you don't have to sacrifice part of the plant, and i'd imagine it' creates less of a shock as well.

As for what you said about clones having reduced potency and yield, you were right. It's just a stupid rumour. The only time this is true is if you clone from a flowering plant, then flower the clone, then clone from it, repeatedly.

Go HPS not MH, flowering is the most important part yes? and you seem to be able to veg them fine with what u got no? so w/o a doubt get HPS lights not MH, and from experience, get bigger than what u think you should. if you think 250, get 400 etc.

ignore me, i just saw that you plan on 400hps for flower..
