will a 4" vortex cool a 5x7x8 room that has a passive intake? sorry about the typo

The four inch is a little small for that size room.
A 4" votex is rated at 172 CFM.
a 6" is rated at 449 CFM which I believe is a much better fit for 280 sq ft.
I am using a 6" vortex controlled by a thermostat in my 260 sq ft room with 1200 watts of HPS and it very comfortably maintains 78-80 deg. F operating about 30-35 % of the time the lights are on.
