400W enough for 5 plants?

I have 4 27w~100w CFLs above 5 seedlings that have sprouted. Only gonna use the lights for vegging, about another 3 weeks, until i move them under a 400w HPS. I have a light above every plant (big bud) with a reg sprout in between the four (yea i know regs?!?!) So is 400 watts of CFLs gonna be enough four the first 4 weeks of growth?

400 Incandescent Watt's is not enough for 5 plant's. Those bulb's put out around 1600-1700 Lumens. I would suggest getting some larger watt cfl's. Add two - four 42 Watt CFL's or one larger watt CFL and it will be fine. Maybe a 105-150 Watt CFL. You can get them for cheap off of here.

Its only for the first month. i don't think they will hardly get big enough to need more light.
