i have a 250w hps in a 1x4x2 fishtank stand (inside a cooltube). it was getting hot with my 70cfm fan, so i kicked up to a 250cfm (too much). so my advice is make yourself a cooltube, and go overkill on the ventilation.

Aesome, loved the pics, dont get why your plant isnt a dense jungle mass, maby high on the sativa side? Need more info! The last pic you [posted on the second link looks like a different cab then the one your showing me, or is that just because you took the led's out to take the pic?

I veg in a closet and flower in a dresser. i know it sounds a little wierd but i have good reason. You just stay tuned bro because on september 1st Its all about flower power which reminds me you need to get at least a 400w HID system up in there if you want big nugs. then you need to figure out a way to keep it cool. My grow space is perfect for just one big plant 2x3x6ft. how big is your dresser? Basically you have 2 choices when growing in a dresser SOG or scRog and both work really well. If you want to grow SOG plan on doing a lot of cloning and taking a lot of extra care of things like the mother plant and everything else. If you grow ScRog you don't need a mother and also your constantly only taking care of 2 plants. 1 in veg and 1 in flower. With SOG your looking looking to grow 4x as many plants or more.

Thats a fatty dresser. Shit. Mine is about 2 by 3 by 4. And yeah that does sound crazy, why not switch it up? ventilation reasons? Yeah man im for sure going to do a perpetual sog, to maximize speed and volume. What kind of fans are you using for vent?

for ventilation i have a 500cfm s&p fan, should do me well right?

500 cubic feet per minute is way way enouph ...... considering your dresser is only 24 cubic feet. Ok so i have an intake fan blowing cold air from outside at night 80 cfm directly onto my canopy 12 hours a day. its hooked up to 4" ducting that leads to my window. Block the light with 90 degree ducting angles and flat black spray paint. I have a 6" clip on circulation fan. The only exhaust i have is for my light. The light is a digital 400w hortilux mounted inside of an "easy cool" 6 inch reflector. at the back end of the cab i have a 6 inch inline booster fan 200cfm, which is sucking air out of my light and away from my cab. This time of year when its hot i have an a/c unit i hook up to it sometimes. Or what also works is to run ducting from your reflector's passive intake out to the window so your bulb gets cold air.
