48hrs of darkness

I was reading a post and I cant remember the user but he said, when inducing flowering he left the plants in dark for 48hrs staight. Ive never heard this, wondering if it does any good to determine sex quickly

In my experience it showed sex faster.

I have heard like 38 hours but its ok either way.

The concept is that it signals the plants that it is definetly time to flower.

i dint know that just done flower strait away all my seeds was fem dose this mater?

i did 36hrs myself...supposed to reset plants internal clock..

myth. Does is happen in nature? Nope. So why in the world would you do somthing unproven? I try to mirror nature. Not fuck with it

you are right...it doesnt happen in nature..neither does 12/12(ok, it happens but twice a year only) or 24/0...and yet people are doing it...indoor growing is supposed to better nature
