5 day old seedlings turning YELLOW. HELP!

I got 2 Purple Power seedlings that are about 4 days old. I planted them in some miracle grow potting mix and now I'm worried they might be getting nute burn. It's only yellow on the round "starter" leaves but would it be possible to flush the soil atleast until I transplant them in a few weeks. Any help would be awesome!

That's what I was thinking as well. I watered it this morning and it didn't start turning yellow until this afternoon.

Hahaha. Haha. Awesome.

Those little starter leaves are called the cotyledons, and they always fall off shortly after the first true leaves form.

Nothing is wrong with your plants.

that's good news. I've seen some plants get a few weeks older before those bastards fall off. so i should just be patient and see what happens then?

That sucks. I watered it down about 2 days ago. Enough to where it was dripping out of the bottom of the pot and it seemed to do the trickbongsmilie. How often do you water?

You will soon get the knack of when to water and when not to. Keep notes on when you water and feed and use that as a reference.

I've been watering about twice every 3 days but i also think i have a lil problem with the roots being cold so i threw a lil heat blowing on the 16oz cups i have them in.

when the leafs start to droop that could be now ur overwatering them
wait till top soil looks dry then put ur finger down like a inch and if that undersoil is not moiste then water it.only give ur plant enough ph water so u can see a little come out the bottom drain hole

Good advice. I never stick my finger in deep enough...whenever i pull it out it always smells like butterscotch....my finger, not the plant. weird.

so just do that with ur finger like a inch just too see if dry water them if moist leave alone
and another thing u could look at the bottom of the pot where the holes are and see if that part of the soild is wet or moist too if not then u dont have a nice even amout of water everywhere or not a nice drainage in the hole soil itself.
