howdy all... trying out a small dwc closet grow. it's an 18 gallon rubbermaid bin under 8, 23w 2700k cfls... about a 1.5'x2' area. just put 6 clones in, 2 weeks from cut directly into 12/12, so they barely had a week of veg (nice root system though). they were only about 2-3 inches at the time of transplant, but have doubled in size in a week.
was hoping for a mini SOG, is this gonna be too many plants sharing the same tub?
thnx

Stickymc: what are you going to do when they grow up? It depends a lot on what strain you're growing, but you might want to have a second tub in reserve just in case. HSA

From my experience with growing 4 per 5 gal bucket you will be fine. There are much better choices but that all depends on a lot of other variables.

this is my second attempt with this strain. the first was a drip, same amount of plants, but in 6" square pots & they fit pretty good. its some unknown bagseed strain, but grows very tight, with hardly any side branching. guess im more concerned with the amount of root space. they were pretty young when i put em into 12/12

The problem youare going to have is that the larger ones are going to dominate. I would try to maybe tie the larger ones back a bit so that the smaller ones can catch up height wise. You can get away with training them till they are about 3 weeks in to flower then I would let them go

cool. yeah, had to bend the last ones too. so the roots should be fine then?
