600w scrog set up ...experienced scroggers only

Im planning 5 plants all indica dom ..in a 4x4x6 ft tent .this is my first scrog .what tips and advice wd u experienced scroggers tell me.all advice welcome

i am growing 6 sativa dom plants in a 4x4 under one 600watt. i used a standard tomato trelis. i veg my plants 8 weeks in 7 gal smart pots in fox farm soil. once i see the 4 nodes start to form i begin topping all my plants and training them around the trelis. once they begin to flower i prune the bottom 1/3 off the plant and take all bud sites ( not leaves)off until the top 2. all i grow is the top and secondary nodes. this has worked brilliantly for me and others as well. this is just what i do not advice or suggestion. you do it how you want ! i yielded 380 grams dried off my last chernobyl run. no popcorn no fluff just colas.

SOil or hydro?? Only advise i can give is to be pateint and let the veg stage reach 75%+ of the screen, THEN flower. With 5 plants in a scrog you could get a HUGE yeild if you do it right. Check ot Woodmanstoker Scrog thread. Its is like the scrog bible.

Thanks guys good advice ..i will be using lightmix soil with biobizz nutes .. How many times should i top each plant . ? Cannabiscult are u saying you only leave 4 colas on each plant ? And u leave fan leafs around trellis height and remove fan leafs off of the tallest nodes? Sorry im a newbie

IMO, that's not a propper scrog. To me a scrog would be as few plants as possible in a rather large area. With 5-6 plants in a 4x4 they won't be able to stretch to their maximum potential.

it'll just be faster filling up the screen. one sq.ft. per plant is acceptable. true, each plant is not reaching its potential but the screen will hit max potential. the screen is treated as a single plant, sorta. whether one plant scrogged for months, or several scrogged for weeks. a full screen is a full screen.

i was saying i leave the top bud sites on and dont remove any foliage from the canopy. i remove the entire bottom 1/3 (leaves and bud sites) i leave just the top couple bud sites. i top the plants 3 or four times each branch as they grow.
