65w Hans Panel can most definately produce...

Hi all-

I just wanted to share with everyone the results of my last grow with the 65w hans panel (the newer one w/ white diodes)

Strain was DNA chocolope which i feel is almost perfect for this light (tall stretchy branches that fill out nicely and spread the plant apart as they get heavier to allow penetration by the light)

Grown in coco hempy with canna nutes. She was topped for (4) mains and Flowered 11 weeks.

Final manicured wt was 51g (of which id say 95% was hard as a rock nugget). Not including the main colas which i lost to mold (fuggin summer humidity) which totaled 36g..which wouldve undoubtedly beeen the prized flowers on er if it wasnt for the botrytis

That puts the total at 87g on 65w which is 1.33 gpw....

Id post pics if i wasnt so paranoid lol...but it is so frosty and potent and oh what a wonderful smell

Thought youd all like to know what this baby can do when shes dialed in...albeit im still interested in an rw75...

Fwiw i grew 2 autos last go around

First finished in 9 weeks and yielded 25g. Second finshed 3 weeks later and yielded about 2oz but it was really bushy so only about half that was too quality ish. The rest goes to concentrates

Damn, wish I had waited and picked up the Hans. I went with an A51 RW-75, in the same space as you - 2x2. I was debating Hans vs A51, ultimately I went with the A51 because of cost, it was cheaper and I'm on a budget.

I just flipped to flower but I don't think I'll see those results, but who knows I could be wrong. Growing some Sugar Punch from Sannie for the first time, so learning these genes, got plenty of these beans to pop.

Hey, I'm curious. How did you run your light? Full blast from the get go or did you use the veg / flower switches on the Hans?

Full blast the whole time. It took some time to get it dialed in. Topping made the most difference id say. I will def grow the chocolope again though. Easy strain and took anything i threw at it. My reason for wanting the rw75 is for penetration. I want my lowers to get rock hard like the rest..its really my only beef w the panel

Technically the Hans, (I have 2 x 80s), panels have no Veg switch. Flowering is Veg. From the site.
"3 selectable positions; (1) Seedlings and cuttings, (2) Mothers and Early weeks of flowering, and (3) Full flowering position. Easily selectable by Switch"
Position 2 is a heavier blue setting which is great for Moms and pointless for early flowering. I can't imagine it really controlling stretch with a blue heavy spectrum. It should be used full flowering at all times unless the panel is too close to some seedlings and then you may want to use the 1st setting for a day or so. Especially with hot soil.

Haha i can throw up pics when i get home of the jars of the good stuff. Then the sad sad moldy tops that im gonna let dry indefinately until i blow em
