70w hps floodlght?

Hey to all, just wondering if anyones grown under a 70w hps floodlight or does anyone know any reason why this wouldn't work? If it helps I want to use it to grow lowryder2 feminized.

I used a 70 watt hps for each of my mothers...They seem to do Just fine under them...as for budding under them im sure u could if u had the correct amount for your grow space.....im not so sure what the lumens output on those 70 watts are

6300 lumes

Is that at one foot? If im not mistaken budding requires around 35000 lumens for proper growth

what about the cfl growers or in a area 2.5x2.5 3.5 ht

you dont need 35000 lumens for proper growth. the more the better obviously but when i first grew my first MJ plant i used 2x 20watt cfls giving me 2400 lumens and i got half ounce of the one plant

I would buy more, but just depends on how much you wonna grow. I think you might get away with one light and one small plant but if you want to grow 3-5 just get a 150 watt HPS from HTG for $80.00. Here is the link. High Tech Garden Supply

Did you grow it for like a million years? I will likely have far less luck with similar...

If your aiming for Good quality bud , no offense but i bought a lotte of 250 hps lights at the auction and ther not worth working with , so 75 must too low
