8 sour diesel plants, first time grow, when to flower? with pics

i have 8 sour diesel clones the have been veg. for almost 2 and half weeks in 5 gal. pots. they are under 1000w hps for 18 light and 6 dark hours. i water them about twice every week and half. i am using foxfarm oceans forest with worm castings mixed. i am using foxfarm big bloom for my current nutes and about to start adding foxfarm grow big. they are in a 5x5x6ft grow tent with reflective foiling (not white walls). Temp is constantly 77.4deg light hours and dark hours goes to about 72 or 73.pH is always 6.8. i attached some pics, any tip/hints would be very helpful! when should i start flowering?

Looks very healthy so far. I don't have the experience to make that call on flowering yet tho...seems like they could have a bit more growth maybe?

ok, well thanks for the comment, i have been feeding them the nutes with every water, it should be every other watering...does that sound right?

I water and nute every other day in veg (needed) and in flower room its every day.
Grow Big is needed now and Big Bloom start one week before going 12/12.
If I where you I would go 12/12 when plants are 18-24" I might even top them at 20" and give them 2 weeks to recover and also all branches below will keep growing up and give you a beautiful canaopy that will be all flowers.

Sure, By pinching the top off a branch (normally the Meristem) (main Branch) It causes that branch to stop and heal, meantime all the lowers get extra hormones and really start to grow, the more you pinch on top, the more will grow from the bottoms.
I top at 20" take down 1 or 2 nodes from TOP and then in two weeks all the lowers will be just as tall as the top sometimes even taller by a 1/2 inch.
So now I have a canopy, and then a Canopy of Buds.

FYI, those could be put to flower right now. But if you wait longer they will get taller, so depends if you have good vertical height. If you top, make sure you veg them for like a week after you tip them at least.

thanks Yota and all of you, Yoda i have a 5'11''H tent, i have my 1000w on the yoyo system to lower and raise the light, so how much taller should i let them get?

HEY GUYS ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCH I SHOULD EXPECT(in LBs) CONSIDERING EVERYTHING GOES RIGHT UP UNTIL FLOWERING?

Yes, you could flower them whenever you wanted. And I agree if you top them, let them veg a little bit to heal.

you can probly expect at least an ounce and a half or more from each plant.
