850w for 2 plants

Hi fellow indoor growers!

This is my first time posting a new thread (lurked around the Australian Grower's thread and had a few posts in there a while back though).

Previously I was just doing 1 plant at a time under a 250w light. Had a trouble free pineapple express grow that yielded me about 5.5oz dry, did a super lemon haze that had a few problems (had to harvest 1-2 weeks early) and only yielded 2-3oz :(

I've recently decided to go for a bigger grow area (0.9 x 0.5 x 1.6 grow tent to a 1.6m x 0.5m x 1.8m cabinet). The main reason for this decision was that I wanted to go for 2 plants, I'm going to go for an afghan kush from world of seeds and a white widow from seedsman (probably start the white widow 2 weeks after the afghan kush so they stay around the same height).

I'm planning on putting a 600w light in and setting up the 250w hps vertically in between the plants. Both lights will be in cool tubes with exhaust fans left open at one end of the cool tube so that the cabinet air gets exhausted too. I've heard great things about including a vertical supplementary light, the people at my local hydro store recommended it so I figured I'd give it a shot :)

Just wondering what your thoughts are on this kind of setup. Any advice from people who have grown with vertical supplemental lighting would be much appreciated thanks.
