Water them and ignore for 2 days. Find a way to judge if the soil is dry. Best way people fuck up their plants is babying them too much

for cups like that use the weight of them to determine when to water if you can't figure it out another way, i use this for my fabric pots as well. for me, a well-watered or close to over-watered 5gallon fabric pot should be like 5-7 lbs ish, and a dry 5-gallon needing watering is like 2-3 at the most. I just know the feeling now. everyone has their own way of determining, which is why so many people have watering issues.

build up the soil a little around the stem. Depending your light height, you may need to lower it.

A slit all the way up a maccas straw and wrap it arround, leave for a week
