GARBAGE.

Bought two 8 x 24 carbon filters from Terrabloom 4 weeks ago. They have the same exact design as the Phresh filters I've been using for years but $50 cheaper. I noticed the FIRST day using them I had problems. As soon as the light turned off in my tent I got that "freshly mowed grass" smell for about 15 minutes. Then it would clear up. I remember the same thing happened when I tried the Black Ops carbon filters a few years ago. Those filters also failed after 1 month of usage.

Now the weed smell is 24/7 from both filters. It's stopping about 70% of the smell but for a new filter that is garbage. My Phresh filters never smelled until after at least a year of usage. I guess it's true about you get what you pay for.

I was going to try the AC Infinity filters but for $80 I'm wondering what type of garbage they will be as well. I guess it's back to Phresh for a very good product.

Its a great product, totally the most important part of any secret garden.
Not only do you get what you pay for but the headaches and extra problems it can bring when it does fail really add up.
Undetected untill it's too late.

That said, my phresh filter is an intake filter.
I sprung for a Standard-Line exhaust filter after my eBay special crapped out after a year and a half.
Still going two and a half years later.
I find it amazing how they scrub the smells out, so I was kinda stoked to get a decent system going.
I sleep better w this.

Well I contacted TerraBloom and they have been nothing but awesome to me. I am being offered a full refund even tho they have been in use for 4 weeks now. Very very surprising to see a company do this for a customer. Especially smelly filters that didn't work right.

I'm still confused as to why they both failed. They are built solid and very similar to the Phresh in size and components used.

I'm too scared to buy the AC filters and have the same exact problem I'm having now. The ones I need are only $80 each but I'm not ready to throw $160 away right now. I need something I know will work right from day 1 and I need it now.........before my house starts to stink real bad :eyesmoke:

Maybe try this place? This is where I got mine from. Active Air 8x24 for $130. You can also find coupon codes for this place quite often. Very decent prices on most stuff too if you don't have a local shop around. I've only used it partially once when the first flower tent was going. Worked fine for us. Still using it.

Hmm, I was looking into getting a terrabloom 8" filter before summer. I know Phresh is best, just hoping I could find something a little cheaper that still works. Anyone use the 8" AC infinity filters?
