I figured that much PSU, but I asked because my XGS has been running cool as can be.
I was just being a dick...............lol...........have you checked its pull at the wall?, I think CM said his was under-driven due to wrong driver adjustments @ the factory

I knew you were just fucking around. I do remember reading something about those maladjusted driver issues a few months back. I don't have a wattage meter, but if I ever get my hands on one, I'll check it out.

Jeff told me that only two of us have mis-adjusted drivers that he knows of,my XGS with 165 watts at the wall and someone else had a XGS with like 220 watts at the wall and he decided to keep his like it was,a little more power and a little less efficient.

But yeah if heat is a concern you can most definitely feel a difference on the back of your hand comparing the xgs to rw 150. Though not like my hand is a calibrated measuring tool but you can tell for sure. Need to get a new thermo gun.
Just to make sure I'm following... you're saying the RW is notable cooler?

 Time to join the LED club (well, I did cobble up a veg LED with 6x20w floods)... but I've decided finally... I'm ordering me 3 x RW-150's... it sounds like the best way to plan for the long-term...

What finally sold me... I know there's not a direct watt-to-watt equivalency necessarily but the way I see it, I'm attempting to replace an 8-bulb T5HO which is approx. 430'ish watts... so I'm replacing it with 450'ish watts of better/cooler/longer lasting lights... what can be wrong there? If people say 1w of LED is better than 1w of Fluro... then hell yeah... upgrade... :fire:

A little more spent per space than I planned... but if one proves to rock it out, I'll be a push over for the 2nd once funds are available... Time to go work harder and try to get me another bonus check... My job -> :wall:

Thanks for the input/advice... I won't be able to share pics unfortunately but I'll definitely report how I find the lights and how they perform for me...

I also like the ideal of buying from them... keep some $$ in the good ol' US of A... and support the smaller business guys... all good things in my book....

Yes I was saying the rw was noticeably cooler when in the same space side by side.

The xgs didn't seem warm to me at all really either until I put the rw next to it. You can feel a difference if you move your hand across the room.

GG. I've been throwing around the idea of a true side by side with a divider. That way no overlap. Would Just have to make sure air flow would be consistent across partitions. Not next round but maybe the following. Trying to decide whether to stick with canna or go back to AN first. Lol

Maybe some kind of thin pantyhose type fabric of a divider. Atmospherically permeable but still casting shade on the other side at least. I'll sub! I like you guys fire it up.
