AC Infinity Cloudline question for grow tent

Just did a bunch of projects this weekend switching over girls to flower. I have two grow tents, both passive intake with ac infinity cloudline and ac infinity back draft preventors.

In a situation where my light is off either 12/12 or 20/4 I want the fan to idle down. So I’m thinking to set the max temp to 85 and max humidity 55. Is there a better way to automate the fans?

Any other ideas?

I just leave mine running and increase as the stages progress. Less than half way for veg and crank from there. I like the fresh air exchange. Sorry it doesn’t really answer your question, love these fans though. So quiet.

I can't think of any way to do what you are asking. While setting up my Cloudline T6 I also noticed a flaw with their "Auto Mode". If the temperature and/or humidity are below their set points, then the fan will turn off completely, and will not turn back on until it gets too hot or humid in the tent. I emailed them to ask if there was a way to set a minimum fan speed, so we could keep air circulation going rather than stopping it completely. They replied back and said this is a request they get often, but it is not possible. However, I did figure out a work around...If you turn off all the set points in auto mode, then set the alarm set points for temp and/or humidity, and then put the fan in "ON" mode; the fan will stay at whatever setting you have it at but will ramp up to the highest speed whenever an alarm set point is reached. The only issue with this is that it plays an audible "BEEP!" while it is in alarm. I have an email out to them now asking if it's possible to disable the beep, but I'm pretty sure the answer to that will be "no". If I have to I will just open the controller up and remove the piezo speaker to stop mine from beeping.

You go to on mode lower the speed then back to auto it will run up to the speed you set so if you set 5 it runs at a max 5

Hold up and down to turn a mode off.

The fan turns on when you set something something set the low the high it turns on same with low temp or high because you could do an intake and exhaust fan and want it to come on depends on how you run the ducting and if you Daisy chain 2 fans as an intake and exhaust. The settings are to turn the fan on.

Basically you set high low ect when you want the fan to come on.

Modes are
on always running
Off
Auto runs what you set
timer runs a the time set then off

You have to be in the auto mode to run auto any other mode won't do the settings

Don't get me wrong, I love this fan, but the way they have the auto mode settings work is just stupid...and this is coming from a guy who has worked in the automation and integration industry for over 20 years. I program automation systems for a living, so I was hoping I could tap into their controller bus, but they aren't willing to release the controller API to me so I can actually program my control system to run their fan the way it should be run.

I put a ac infinity backdraft preventer in the exhaust duct. Seems like I need to be at setting 8 to get it to 86 degree in a 4x4 with T6 500watt LED light. Im not sure if the fan isn't powerful or the backdraft just causes the need for stronger fan.

I have a hurricane in my 5x5 seems way stronger.

I don’t have my humidity sensor for one tent. I can’t even get a reply from support I’ve sent emails 3 times the last week. Not good

I think they may be short staffed due to COVID shutdowns. It took them awhile to get back to me but they did apologize for their slow reply.

This company is horrible. I’m sorry three weeks and one reply they don’t care about customers. Who can’t answer email in Covid 19? How is that possible I regret my purchase I tried paying for a replacement part shittest service ever

yea i agree the auto mode settings are dumb, borderline pointless. it's still the quietest fan though, the s4 would've been a better buy for me

They’ve replied to both of my emails about 5 days after I emailed them. They must be short staffed because people have said they have great customer service prior to all this.

Yes, they are very quiet, and even more quiet if you get smooth walled or insulated duct hose. They obviously get louder on full speed, but they are still way quieter than the other fans I've owned.

I take back my comment. There customer service responds once a week due to corona virus, they gave me a free replacement part I lost.

I like the product, I have a t6 in my 4x4 it goes on by Temp and humidity. I don’t have to touch anything even during flower. I have the backdraft preventers as well. It works very well.

I have one ready to go in my other tent 5x5 when it’s out of flower. I’m worried it won’t be strong enough though seems like t6 is 350cfm.

I want and need the t8

fans are cheap.. $300-500 packs are not.
Use 800cfm fans as a baseline.. they can turn down.
