actinic light

does anyone know if there are benefits to using actinic lights with metal h. during vegetation

I dunno about combineing them with MH bulbs, but as far as flouros go, they are amazing. Mix em 50%/50% with normal cool whites and veg growth explodes, esp. under the actinics.

Expensive bulbs, but well worth it.

the fixture was used to grow corals in a 90 gallon tank and worked awsome for that. should hps be added to the mh or substituted for mh during flowering

actinics are excellent, 2 inches out of ground in 2 days from seeds.
thinking about a cool white with it to give it more of a boost.
