Adding an MH Warm deluxe with 1 and 2 weeks left of flower

I picked up a few 400w bulbs yesterday. I am currently using a MH ballast with an eye hortilux HPS conversion bulb. I think it puts out 360w once converted to HPS. I picked up three MH bulbs yesterday. The reflector that I made can hold two 400w bulbs. Here is what I bought.

Sunmaster Cool Deluxe 400W.U37.CDX
Sunmaster Warm Deluxe 400W.M37.WDX
Venture MS 400/HOR (4000k mh)

Now the question that is on topic for this forum...


Yesterday I added the warm deluxe to run with the HPS. Being in my last few weeks of flower would it be better to use the Cool Deluxe instead for resin production? I plan to chop the main cola on one of my plants this Wednesday. The rest are a week or two out. Started flushing a week ago.

As far as i have heard... its good to do 1st two weeks flower with MH then the last week with MH as well anf HPS inbetween

Im going to try it out this grow... so yeah i think you should switch them last week and see what happens

Should I swap out the HPS and put in the Cool Deluxe then? It will then be running 2 400w MH Bulbs one cool and one Warm. That HPS conversion bulb puts out way more heat than the MH bulbs. Like ALOT more.

BTW I have 5 bag seed plants. Two look pretty decent, one is okay, and the last two are lets say you would need your beer goggles on to take them home for the night.

Well I switched out the HPS conversion bulb last night. I am now running a Sunmaster Warm Deluxe and a Cool Deluxe 400w bulb side by side in a 36"x36" grow area. Also have my set of three 24" U-bend fixtures down low rocking two 40w 4100k bulbs in each.

Should be ready to start chopping after the holiday weekend I hope.
